Integrative Veterinary Medicine pairs traditional medicine with other treatments to care for mind, body, and spirit for whole-pet care. Dr Donna practices integrative medicine blending western medicine with holistic approaches to treatment and taking a whole-pet approach to therapy. Patients are evaluated on the basis of their environment, disease, condition or pain score, and lifestyle, as well as results from other diagnostic modalities such as blood tests, ultrasound and radiography (x-rays). Integrative medicine treatments are non-invasive or minimally invasive, gentle, and are often considered for pets with complex conditions, patients who are not surgical candidates, seniors and young healthy pets or canine athletes. Dr Donna will work with you to determine your goals for your pet’s care, and will develop a customised treatment plan with these in mind.
